Strange Meeting (poem) is a poem by Wilfred Owen. It deals with the atrocities of World War I. The poem was written sometime in 1918 and it was published in 1919 after Owen's death. The poem is narrated by a soldier who goes to the underworld to escape the hell of the battlefield and there he meets the enemy soldier he killed the day before.

This poem has been called as one of Owen's "most haunting and complex war poems".

It seemed that out of the battle I escaped

Common Chemicals BPA and Phthalates May be Damaging Your Arteries

Exposure to bisphenol A (BPA) and phthalate metabolites, usually associated with plastic products and canned goods, have been found to harden your vital arteries. Research linked the two chemicals to a disorder known as atherosclerosis, which is the hardening of the arteries through the buildup of unwanted hard structures known as plaques. Over long periods of time, the plaque buildup stiffens the arteries and negatively impacts your blood flow.

While shocking, the research is not the first of its kind to link BPA exposure to thickened artery walls. Bisphenol A has been previously linked to coronary heart disease in more than one instance, with one team finding that those with the highest levels of BPA in urine tests were more than twice as likely to suffer from coronary heart disease than those with the lowest concentrations. In the second instance, scientists evaluated the data from 1,455 United States adults tested between 2003 and 2004. What they found was an association between increased BPA levels and not only your likelihood of heart disease, but also diabetes and abnormal liver function.

While usually associated with plastics, BPA and phthalates are actually in a number of common products and household items. Unfortunately, phthalates and other endocrine-disrupting chemicals can even be lurking on plastics labeled as ‘BPA-free’ despite having the same negative effects as BPA. In fact, the study found that 70% of common plastic products were tested positive for estrogenic activity, and the number skyrocketed to 95% when the products were put through real world conditions such as microwaving or dishwashing.

These chemicals can be found in water bottles, plastic containers, plastic wrapping, dental fillings and sealants, and perhaps most importantly canned goods. BPA levels have been found to spike by over 1,200 percent after eating canned food, making it a major source of exposure.

An estimated 120 million Americans live within 50 miles of a nuclear plant - about 40 percent of the U.S. population.

The warning signs for a nuclear disaster in America are very clear at Los Alamos which is the American governments top nuclear weapons facility.
Here is a list an inspector at the plant compiled.
over 1000 bad welds in one building. These welds are on things designed to keep the radioactive material contained in case of a nuclear accident of some kind.

no containment for radioactive waste in one of it's labs that handles the stuff daily. If a nuclear accident were to happen.... they could not keep the deadly radioactive material from getting loose in the environment.

I mean it's not like human error or some natural disaster could or would EVER happen ????

We would never have floods,earthquakes,tornadoes,human error mistakes,wildfires, or anything that would threaten those plants...of course not...not ever..ooops I forgot.... it's already happened!

Recently this spring and right now there were and are several nuclear facilities that are being threatened by floods.
Two in Nebraska,one in Missouri,and now fire threatens Los Alamos in New Mexico. And we most certainly cannot forget Fukishima,Chernobyl,and Three Mile Island.
They always tell us the risk is low so that we will feel better. After all we live with risk every day don't we?
Well this is one risk that is not individual choice. This is one risk they cannot fix when something goes wrong This "low risk"affects all of life upon this planet,effects the food chain and more for generations!.
That is an unacceptable risk to me no matter how damn low it is!!!!!!!!!!!

Listen up people... we cannot fix it once it's loose!!!!!! and untill we can we have no business putting these power plants of death anywhere...... much less all over the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have the resources and technology to do clean energy ... so do not believe them when they tell you we don't! it's a lie! research it for yourself and see!

I am so sorry for the uranium and plutonium that Japan has released into the environment. The fallout from Fukushima has already circled the world many times, reaching Hawaii, Alaska, and even New York.

We live 60 kilometers (37 miles) from the plant and our homes have been contaminated beyond levels seen at Chernobyl. The cesium-137 they are finding in the soil will be here for 30 years. But the government will not help us. They tell us to stay put. They tell our kids to put on masks and hats and keep going to school.

Now, what we ask is for you to speak out against the Japanese government. Pressure them into taking action. Tell them to make protecting children their top priority.

Suddenly it has shifted from their mental processing queue to the "absolutely truth" part of their brain, and from that point forward, no one can question that reality in their heads.

Don't bother arguing with a Gullible Mind - they are immune to facts

At this point, their rational mind is completely shut off on the topic. No accumulation of facts can, at that point, rattle their "reality." For example, a person who believes the government's story of 9/11 has already embraced the Easter Bunny version of terrorists flying airplanes into the World Trade Center towers. So how did this act cause the WTC 7 building to collapse in a demolition-style free-fall a few hours later, when WTC 7 was never struck by airplanes? How can a steel and concrete building suddenly and magically collapse in perfect structural synchronicity merely from being on fire?

The answers don't matter to The Gullible Mind, you see. There is no room for facts inside their heads, because all the space has been taken up with what is essentially a cult-like belief in institutions of authority.

We saw this in the Heaven's Gate cult in California a few years back. The leader of that cult, a man named Applegate, positioned himself as the one and only source of authoritative information among the cult followers. So HE became the authoritative source whose information was wholly accepted without questioning or skepticism of any kind. At that point, he was able to quite easily convince his followers that an alien race was going to land a UFO on the far side of a comet, and that if they killed themselves, they would be transported onto the alien ship (or something like that).

The belief in such a story may seem silly... until you realize that the governments of the world use the exact same cult-like tactics to get their own "followers" to believe everything they say, without question. So if President Obama announced that an alien race was going to land a mother ship on the White House lawn, and that people who voted for him would have their consciousness transferred to an immortal alien body, the remarkable truth is that millions of people would believe that. Perhaps tens of millions. They would even worship him as an interstellar saint.

Remember Orson Welles' radio program that announced aliens had invaded the Earth and were destroying our cities? Huge numbers of people believed it was really happening... and not because it made any sense, but because the information came from the source they trusted. To those people, the alien invasion was just as real back then as Bin Laden's official death is to government followers today.

This is not good. These results are a month old now and more material has most certainly come down. Poisoning by Strontium and Plutonium are many orders of magnitude worse than the Iodine that has been widely reported in the mainstream press.

Anglo-Suisse Offshore Partners said in a report that the leak only let loose 5 gallons of Crude.

‎"Thousands of birds and fish have mysteriously died in Arkansas. After the media offered ridiculous explanations for what happened, more birds died en masse in Louisiana. Then, hundreds of dead birds were found in Kentucky. They all died f...rom massive internal bleeding, blood clots and trauma. What is going on? Why did they die? Are people next?

Russian intelligence claims that this was part of a weapons experiment using ELF or microwave pulses. They claim that the former White House staff person whose body was found in a garbage dump in Delaware was murdered because he was going to expose this. Of course the military and Central Government has this technology, the technology to target specific human frequencies to utilize weaponry on.

Well, the US has been testing such weapons for decades. It does not make sense that they would suddenly target fish and birds in an area as target practice. They have better things to do. So, the Russian explanation does not hold a lot of value to me, though I do not discount it. More investigation needs to be done.

What does seem intriguing in this event is where it happened. All of the locations fall along the New Madrid fault line region. This area has been extremely active lately with over 500 quakes in Arkansas alone in the last few weeks. Tornadoes have also ravaged this region in unusual numbers for this time of year.

These activities seem to have intensified since the Gulf oil disaster. It is believed by many geologists that the New Madrid seismic zone is triggered by the hidden faults under the Gulf of Mexico. They think this zone has been weakened by the drilling and explosions. Therefore, all of this increased seismic movement is stressing all of the seismic zones east of the Rockies, including Oklahoma and the Northeastern regions.

It could be that the stressed fault line is releasing natural ELF pulses that have killed these animals. It could also be creating electrical fields that are attracting huge storms and tornadoes. We know the Gulf Stream is about gone and that is why colder weather pervades Europe and North America. It all points to the Gulf.

If this theory is true, then we can expect massive quakes and tsunamis in the Gulf at any time, with a major release of methane into the atmosphere. We can also expect huge quakes in the New Madrid seismic zone, as well as from Oklahoma to South Dakota. There may even be a large quake in South Carolina, New England and in the Canadian Maritimes. The St. Lawrence Seaway also needs to be closely checked.

I said yes I heard about the birds in BeBe Arkansas..She said did you hear about the other birds in another state or the mass fish kill?

The physical evidence in relation to the assassination confirms that Lee Harvey Oswald could not have been the lone gunman in this crime. To recap:

According to the official story Oswald could only have fired three shots (it was impossible to fire more from his position when compared to the film evidence), that the first shot went through the President and into Governor Connolly, the second shot missed (it hit the sidewalk), while the final shot was into JFK's head.

HOWEVER:
1. An audio recording of the attack clearly indicates more than three shots were fired. According the the official story it was impossible for Oswald to have fired more than three times, therefore a second gunman must have been present.

2. The "magic bullet", that MUST have caused wounds to both JFK and Governor Connolly, if the official story is to be believed, is planted evidence. It's impossible for this particular bullet to have remained in such a pristine condition after punching though the muscle and bone of two people. The one claim saying that the bullet could have survived with so little deformation should be viewed suspiciously, seeing as there has never been a successful repetition of this questionable ballistics test.

3. The Zapruder Film indicates the head shot came from the front. Oswald was shooting from behind.

When we take the physical evidence together with the witness testimony from Governor Connolly, who said he heard gunfire BEFORE he was shot (you can see him turning around in the car to look while JFK is struggling with the wound in his neck) it's obvious the official timeline is false. Remember the official story has JFK shot through the neck, with the first round, simultaneous to Connolly being hit. Yet we have Connolly indicating he was still unhurt after already hearing the first shot. The Zapruder film confirms this account rather than the official narrative.

So we have one shot to JFK's neck, one into the road, one to Connolly and one more to JFK's head. That is 4. The sound recording also shows that there were at least 4, maybe up to 7 shots. If there were more than 3 shots, then there must have been more than one shooter.

It's more than likely that Oswald did not fire any shots at all and was, as he claimed, "just a patsy."

They have now figured it out..They are going to put those microchips in your meds. Isn't that special???

Now of course to disable said microchip in your meds.... just run a strong magnet over pills before you ingest them or simply inquire at pharmacy and refuse them.

Palin makes her "Blood" money from the very sources whose agendas would "Dare" take America into the abyss. It's no secret that the Democrats are needing to clean their own house! That's a given! I, for one, am sick of the "Good Cop, Bad Cop" game that some of the legislators, of both parties, play!  "We" watched the game playing during the FISA Bill debate, then the health care Bill, more especially after Ted Kennedy took ill. It was a telling tale if you were seeking truth and had an open mind during these debates! Even the Republican side of the Supreme Court spit on the Constitution when they handed down a ruling in favor of Corporations which, once and for all, opened Pandora's box. Think of it! Billions to further Corporation agenda's have gone into this election process! BILLIONS! American's are losing all they worked for! And our "Democracy"? It has been degraded! While the Insurance companies are going about their usual business as usual. American's are torn! The American dream fast becoming a nightmare of monumental proportions.

We were warned that America's fall would come from within! A respected Republican, Eisenhower, warned "US" of the Military Complex. JFK was critical of the Federal Reserve! The signs have been many! But the truth of the dire issues facing this nation has ultimately been covered up, not uncovered, by the corporate-run- media. A media owned by the very entities who would, once and for all, "Dare" drain what's left of this Nation's life's blood! There's no doubt that the Rupert Murdoch news empire is the most dangerous. But, they are not alone in their conquest of truth! Their trophy? The PEOPLE of these NOT-so-United States, on it's knees!

All legislators who serve the dastardly agendas of Corporations should be held to account! Certain members of the Supreme Court should be tried as traitors for their un-American rulings! We need to form many citizen committees throughout the country that will air the dirty laundry of those who have dangerous agendas, not so secret any longer since the recent supreme court ruling. A ruling so abusive it would "Dare" undermine OUR COUNTRY to the detriment of her striving citizens.

Many excellent grass root groups have emerged over the last years, but, as usual, many who stand in support of these movements forget that the stakes are so high their commitment "cannot" take a hiatus.

"We The People" need to take hold of the reigns of our government, not by violence as advocated by the likes of Angle, of Nevada, but by becoming that which "We" wish our legislative body was. Honor bound! Unselfish servants to the needs of "ALL" Americans and, the people who share this planet with us! People who practice what they preach serve reason, it is the power of the mind by which man attains truth or knowledge! "We" need folks who understand that this planet cannot survive anymore abuse of it's elements! "We" need folks who can find a way to co-exist, in harmony, with each other!

Empire builders have a single minded goal; "Rape and Pillage" what they are able, leaving chaos and despair as their calling card! The bottom line? The vicious games the Republicans have played prove that they care little about the plight of Home-Spun-Americans, nor the peoples of the world. They are spoiled brats and obstructionist. Last, but not least, some of the Democrats have either become Republicrats or, are cowards.

If you Voted for a Republican, in this election,you voted for those who want to continue with an "incurable" disease. "Both plants are to rise in the California desert under a fast-track program that dovetails with the state’s own aggressive effort to push development of solar, wind and geothermal power. The far larger one, a 709-megawatt project proposed by Tessera Solar on 6,360 acres in the Imperial Valley, will use “Suncatchers” — reflectors in the shape of radar dishes — to concentrate solar energy and activate a four-cylinder engine to generate electricity.
A 45-megawatt system proposed by Chevron Energy Solutions and featuring arrays of up to 40,500 solar panels will be built on 422 acres of the Lucerne Valley. When complete, the two projects could generate enough energy to power as many as 566,000 homes.
Mr. Salazar is expected to sign off on perhaps five more projects this year; the combined long-term output of all the plants would be four times that of the first two."

Americas FIRST Solar Energy plant! That indeed is awesome news...Kudo's to you Salazar for helping this to happen.

Why Do So Many Fall For These People?

It absolutely confounds me why so many people fall for the STARS that the powers-that-be prop-up in front of us. How can otherwise bright, intelligent people become stupefyingly lame-headed and suckered by people that are clearly just saying exactly what everyone wants to hear? It happens over and over again. Once they are elected, they do nothing for us! Duh!!

Why do you think that is? Could it be that they never gave a damn about us to begin with? Could it be that when those in power offered to "make them rich and famous" and that they may have been seduced? No, that couldn't be it. Not our precious fill in the name of your favorite savior here.

The sad fact is many of us have been socially conditioned to idealize celebrity! It astounds me how easily people will glom onto someone and idealize them beyond any reasonable proportions. How many of our so-called leaders turn out to be worthy of our adoration and idealizations? How many discredited, corrupt political stars can look right into a camera, right into your eyes, smile and LIE without a second thought? That's why they pick these people. They can do this without any trouble whatsoever. Oh, but not Obama. He would never do anything like that. Sarah would never do anything like that. They are real. They are genuine, right? You just "know" they are by what you've seen on TV, or heard at a rally you saw her at. Or my God, she actually spoke to you personally at a rally. She seemed so real, so nice.

I think I may have to projectile vomit. Please excuse me for a moment . . .

Can you detect a bit of ire in my tone? I'm just so tired of seeing good people act out the same stupid behavior. There I said it. I said the "S" word.

Another strange thing that happens to many of us is when we see someone often enough on television we start to feel that we know them, as if they are a friend. Familiarity is not the same thing as friendship everyone. Friendship requires an actual relationship. Can any of you really say you know a darn thing about Palin or any of these people propped up before us? You only know what you've seen and heard through the media. Their sound bites are carefully orchestrated and controlled.

Some people were offended because I put the photo of Obama and Palin dancing in the campaign video. Nobody seems to have a problem with Obama being there, but "How dare I" put Saint Palin in with him! She's the real deal. She's "one of us."

Did any of you notice that Sarah Palin came out of nowhere just like Obama came out of nowhere? Suddenly she was thrust into the limelight with the full might and power of the establishment celebrity machine. She was everywhere and still is. They made her a star overnight and dazzled everyone inclined to be dazzled by her. She's gone from total obscurity to a multimillionaire folks. Do you really think they would have picked her if she wasn't going to serve their purposes?

There is no difference between what they did with Obama and what they are doing with Palin my friends. Look at that photo to the left. Look really hard and next time you watch Sarah, see if you can't see that this is exactly what she is doing. She's a performer. She's being paid a lot of money to do what she's doing. She's telling you exactly what she has been told you want to hear, what will sucker you in and make her more famous and powerful. Yes, she may believe some of what she says but make no mistake. She is not going to help us! Everyone who is gaga for Palin will see she won't deliver any better than Obama if she actually gets elected to anything. She is surrounded and controlled by the same "old guard" that's been in the primary "appointed" positions of power and advisory positions since Kennedy was assassinated.

Some people were also offended by the morphed photo of Obama and Bush I put in the campaign video. Don't you remember that Bush LIED to us about practically everything? Bush and his trusty sidekick Cheney, or was it the other way around, LIED us into Middle East wars that are still raging. If you're short on memory, watch this little video I put together. Bush's reign roughly doubled the size and power of the government, all accomplished through lies. He exploited 9-11 to put into place a domestic police state apparatus that would be right at home in Stalin's Russia, or Mao's China, or China today for that matter. He ended his reign by rubber stamping the first banker bailout. Remember the $700 BILLION which now has become over 24 TRILLION? Oh yea. Bush is a great sacred cow. He's a hero. He's the real deal.

The morphed photo of Obambush is the cold hard truth. There has been a total continuity of agenda passing from one administration to the next, from one Congress to the next and it's been like that for a very long time. Want more proof? Listen to this amazing speech given by Charles A. Lindberg given back in 1941 in which he talks about the exact same lunatics doing the exact same things.

This insanity is not going to stop until we stop being so gullible. To ignore this truth is pure folly. Go ahead and do what the Obama devotees have done, fawn over celebrity and soon you will all be hanging your heads, just like all the Obama zombies are doing right now.

It's Called Controlled Opposition Folks

It is a fact that those in power know how to manipulate and control us. It's a fine art to them. The best way to control the opposition is to become the opposition. They have been doing it for a long, long time. The second they feel a group can pose a threat they will infiltrate it and make sure their people will rise to the top leadership positions.

Another sacred cow to many people is Glen Beck. Folks, we can't afford any sacred cows. We have to see clearly without any wishful thinking sugar-coating our perceptions. Again, do you really think the establishment machine would give Beck a multimillion-dollar studio and an enormous salary if he wasn't going to serve their purposes? Come on!

Yes, he speaks the truth about many things. Great, however, haven't you noticed on every single major issue he has betrayed us? He was for the banker bailout. He's for a VAT tax (value-added tax) to pay down the fraudulent debt owed to the Federal Reserve. He trashed Ron Paul at every turn. He was going to expose the truth of FEMA camps. Oops, no, there aren't any FEMA camps. It's just another conspiracy theory.

Beck is being used to corral and control the Tea Party/Patriot movement. It's so obvious. Just because someone tells you things you want to hear, just because much of it is actually true, doesn't mean you can trust them, especially someone like Beck. He has a history of betraying our trust. We cannot afford to HOPE he is a different man now that he is speaking more truthfully. Remember the big march in Washington? Millions showed up and there was no media coverage. It's as if it didn't' happen. Remember all the rallies that have been held. Did any of those get the kind of coverage the recent Glen Beck extravaganza got? Hell no! Do you really think Beck's rally got the kind of coverage it got because it stood any chance of producing any real change? Come on! That event was simply a way to make everyone feel as if something is actually happening, that some actual momentum is beginning. It's not. Beck will not lead you anywhere except deeper down the rat hole. You will never hear him promoting anything that will create real change.

We're in deep trouble. We cannot afford to be seduced by the same old tactics we've been seduced by in the past. If we don't snap out of it, we are not going to prevail in this battle. We have to stop "hoping these people will save us." They won't. They are paid to make sure we are contained, that our anger and energy is siphoned off into things that will not lead us anywhere. They are paid to make sure we do not organize into any action that will actually change anything. If I were in real deep danger, I would not want someone like Beck or Palin watching my back!

We Cannot Effect Change In Congress By Changing Which Party Has A Majority.

The quote by Carol Quigley at the top of this newsletter says it all. The most important part of the quote:

"the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can 'throw the rascals out' at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy."

The only way to effect "real change" in Congress is to THROW THEM ALL OUT! It must be a total house cleaning. Members of both parties must be purged. The system must learn that we are onto them. We have to show them we know the two party system is a sham and that it's just one big party, the big government/globalization party, by stopping support for either party. It's simple to do. Throwing them all out shows the entire system we are not falling for the false left/right paradigm anymore. We want people that will honor their oath of office and "protect and defend our unalienable rights" first and foremost! We don't care what party they suck up to.

Every single election we play out the same stupid behavior. We play their game and only about 15% of the Congress turns over . . . if we're lucky. The vast majority of players remain the same and nothing changes for the better. When we play the "flip the Congress" game, nothing changes because the bureaucracy that really runs the show is set up to ensure the underlying continuity of agenda continues no matter which party is in control.

We have to stop playing their game and hold them ALL accountable. We have to demonstrate that we know the truth of things and stop acting like total idiots.

Just about 15 minutes ago I had a very interesting experience.
I heard a helicopter flying low and loud outside... so I went t o see what it was.
to my surprise it was a large dark grayish black helicopter flying low enough for me to see it's guns.
It circled my house twice.(I was running for my cell phone so I could camcorde it)
But alias my cell phone was in the bottom of my purse.
By the time I got it out they were no longer flying where I could see them. I could still hear them though and I waited to see if they were coming back.
haven't seen them yet.
Why are they here? Who knows?
Maybe they are waiting to see if I say something really bizarre like...They are watching Me!
Maybe they are NOT watching me.
Perhaps it is all a coincidence that I am writing about Homeland Security and BP and then a strange helicopter with guns buzzes my house twice.
Maybe they were lost or confused as to which direction they needed to go.
Perhaps they were just getting some thermographics for something completely unrelated to me.

How can it be illegal for scientists to obtain water samples?
As anyone ever heard of such a thing?
Logiclly if you are going to test something then one has to have samples of what you are testing.
It appears that Homeland security does not want legitimate samples taken.

It seems that the only samples allowed to be taken are those that conform to the "all is well"scenario that Homeland Security is placing forth.

Well it seems to me that All is NOT well.
This is becoming clearer and clearer all the time.

First scientists have to have a "permit" to obtain samples.
Then their samples are confiscated.

It is glaring obvious as to who has control of our government.

I have good news and bad news.
The good news from the Gulf is that they completed the drilling of the new well,and have poured concrete into the old well gusher to "permanently" seal it.(...I hope so)

The good news is that BP can now stop pouring millions of gallons of dispersant's into the Gulf. The bad news is that dispersants drop the oil from the top of the water.... to the bottom of the Gulf.

Remember that old saying; "out of sight, out of mind?"
This is BP's state of mind when it comes to minimizing the impact of the disaster.

BP's greatest minds came up with this...what to do.... after they failed to use common sense or listen to their own people regarding the risk they were taking.
Remember all the warnings BP received regarding that blow out valve?

Now for the bad news.Unfortunately the effects from this disaster are not going away anytime soon.

The dispersants that BP has been using has gotten into our water cycle.
How could it do anything else?
Any third grader can tell you that water from the oceans go up in evaporation.
Whatever is mixed with the oceans water will also go up.
Then following the basic laws of this planet ...what goes up will come down...
The dispersants come down with the rain.
That rain is killing and damaging our crops, our trees,etc.and contaminating our streams and rivers. raining on our children ,our pets, our crops,our farm animals, and us.

It is bad enough that there are huge fish kills off of our eastern and southern coast lines,
It is bad enough that the Marine life is dying by the thousands,
It is bad enough that there are miles and miles of fresh oil sludge on the bottom of the Gulf.
It is bad enough that this effects the flowing of the thermohaline currents of this planet which is the pacemaker of this planet's weather.
Now we have toxic corexit dispersant rain that is severely damaging... or possibly destroying the rest of the ecosystem in a large way .
I wonder can it get in our food chain? It is theoretically possible.
It does rain on our food crops.
There is already severe problems to our crops from "something in the air" so saith the farmers.

It is hard to say how long term this damage from the Oil Gusher; plus the spraying of millions...possibly billions of gallons of toxic dispersants into the Gulf waters will be.

The thermohaline current has been struggling for years now due to global warming.
Word has it that it has broken down completely since the oil gusher disaster in the Gulf.

Perhaps the dying or dead thermohaline current is a good thing in a twisted sort of way.
This could prevent the currents from carrying those toxic dispersant's all over the world.
The bad thing is:
It could also prevent the watering down or thinning out of the dispersants.
This could make the rain concentrations of toxic dispersants heavier in the US southern,midwest, and coastal states.
One thing is certain there will be severe consequences from this thermohaline current breaking down. The last time it happened was over 8,000 years ago right before a mini Ice age. look here

This Thermohaline current breakdown will mean more floods,more extra severe weather,more droughts in places,and with winter coming on.... people in certain areas are going to get the most severe of winters.

Some people will say that I am just being an alarmist and that there is no proof that the dispersants nor the oil are causing this massive kind of problem in our environment.
Some will come out with arguments and pooh pooh the whole idea that what BP has done will be/ are the only causes of the problems I have listed.

I say if it looks like a duck ,walks like a duck,quacks like a duck,odds are pretty good that it's a duck.
I do not care if BP's actions or lack thereof are not the only causes.
What is certain is the fact that BP's oil gusher in the Gulf with their subsequent handling of this disaster has not created one lick of good.
Truth is; it has done very severe harm.
Odds are very good that BP's handling of the Gulf Oil volcano gusher is directly responsible for the major problems we are seeing in the environment right now regarding all that I have said here.

Everyday I get all kinds of environmental alerts to my e-mail box and none of them address this most egregious harm that BP has perpetuated upon our earth.
I e-mailed them back and said why not?
I have not had a single answer to my inquiry as of yet.

It is possible that once the toxic dispersants stop being sprayed in the Gulf things can begin to heal there. That is once they stop spraying .. however...word has it that BP is still spraying dispersants as of the day of this writing.

How long it will take those dispersants to bio-degrade in the environment is still an open question. How long after the Biodegrading does it take for the fish numbers and other marine life to again become abundant..no one knows.
Long term damage done? No one knows for sure.
Rest assured there will be long term damage.
We have never had a oil gusher nor toxic dispersant dump of this magnitude before.

We are a firefighters family and this touches us close to home

Yesterday after the rains came this is what I found on my walk in my woods.

I found this on all of my plants,including the Posion Ivy.All the trees, all the bushes, grass, honeysuckle vines, saw briars, everything! I wanted to cry and I wondered how could anyone do such a thing to themselves,their children,their food?

I started looking on YouTube and discovered that it's everywhere. In Wisconsin,Kentucky,Tennessee,Florida,Georgia,Iowa, Canada, and on and on.

I thought... this is worse than Hitler or at least just as bad. After walking in the woods I got sick within 4 hrs.Coincidence? Maybe but I discovered many others are saying the same thing..You see it had rained just a little prior to my walking. Now I have lung congestion,no fever,no stopped up head,no runny noise, no sore throat... just lung congestion.

Many of these fish are food species for all the life in the oceans and this Earth including humans.

Our Congress did not care. Our Senate did not care. Our Presidents did not care.
The people who needed a job from the many industries that depend upon oil did not care.
The government did not offer those folks another job option.

ONE gushing Leak, just ONE! .... is all it has taken to bankrupt fishing industries,severely hamper (possibly destroyed) tourist and restaurant industries in multiple states, bankrupt and put out of a job, ALL the industries that depended upon a healthy eco-system within the ocean. Just ONE Oil spill from ONE well is all that it took to create this .
(There are hundreds of Oil wells in the Gulf and elsewhere around the globe.)

We environmentalist were trying to save ALL the industries and ALL the jobs that depend upon a healthy eco-system, only to have Corporation spokespeople and their paid for politician lackeys say :
"We Environmentalist" are the reason there are no jobs from certain industries.
We the environmentalist KNEW that the Oil corporations could NOT be trusted to safe guard the environment that SO many others depended upon for their livelyhood.
How did we know this?
Well the best predictor of future behavior is past behavior and the Oil companies have a LOONG history of violating the environment and leaving their toxic messes.
After all it's not like Mining corporations and Oil corporations have ever left a huge disaster in EVERY PLACE they have ever been in the world is it?

This damage they leave costs them Millions possibly Billions to clean and people get sick, Crops get contaminated,and our water supply becomes contaminated with poisons...But hey what is that compared to profit?
These Corporations continue to make a profit while passing ALL the expenses on to the consumer for their messes. We the People get to pay for cleaning up the huge mess they made in the first place!
By the way this clean up costs more than the prevention would have cost.
In short they make their money with slow agonizing Death. Why should they care?
They are fine and have made Billions. While WE the People are stuck with paying for it.
How do they repay us for our loyalties???
They take the very same jobs they told us their neglectful processes were "saving" and outsourced them to other countries while they blame it all on the restrictions "Our Bleeding Heart Liberals" have set in place to hold them accountable..
They forgot to mention the fact that these laws would not have been necessary had they not destroyed all other Industries and more in their mad rush for Black Gold.

Instead these corporations just move on to other countries with lax environmental laws like a bad virus..contaminating and killing other parts of the world.

Sarah Palin had the nerve during the spill to attempt to lay the blame for this mega disaster upon the doorsteps of the environmentalists by saying that "if environmentalist had allowed shallow off the coast drilling" then this disaster would not be so huge.
Now how does that make any sense? Would there be less oil coming out from a collapsed line?
Perhaps their would have been a way to cap it better?
Perhaps BP would have paid closer attention to their own peoples warnings regarding a disaster and the dangers they were risking?

We environmentalist were trying to create more jobs at home here in America from recycling industries,green technologies etc..only to have all of that fall on deaf ears within our bought and paid for by the oil lobbyist, propaganda spewing,war mongering ,special interest bought politicians government!

Unlike the oil companies; Green technology wasn't subsidised by the government so all the promising research and proven to work technology couldn't be taken to the next level.
Other countries created jobs for their people and took care of a huge part of their energy needs with Green Fuel technology ... but not America.

Instead of supporting new industries here in America that would have created millions of jobs for Americans in America; the last 3 administrations (and possibly more) have spent trillions of dollars fighting wars and waging a propaganda war to control the oil and gas resources of the world. Their reasoning???... keep them out of "hostile to American Capitalism" governments in the world.

We have to Protect our national interest in the world" and that interest is expanding Capitalistic profit in the corporate sponsored government minds. Not for American People just for them.

The fishing industry off of Americas eastern coast is now damaged for years to come maybe for generations, maybe forever.
Our Greedy Bankster and Wall street money changers have wreaked our Construction industries, all the industries that depend upon new home construction, our Credit industries, Loan Programs , and Housing markets.
They have also assisted the drug wars in Mexico by laundering money for them.
Our retail car industries and car manufacturing industries, along with all the associated Industries, also took a heavy hit..and to top it all off "We the People " whose jobs vanished with the outsourcing of America and all the above mentioned situations Bailed many of these industries out with tax dollars, while we struggled to put food on the table and they squabbled and squawked over losing their million dollars bonuses.
Now those self same voices that have brought us to this precipice ..The Republican Party and the Democrat Party have bought up Billions of dollars of campaign ads on television ,radio, newspaper, banners,Internet ads, posters stuck all over every street corner in the nation to say the same thing..It was the other parties fault.
Elect ME! they all say. I will single handily fix it all.
"The Left has ruined our Country by imposing socialism programs" So saith the Right wing "Conservative" politicians.
"The Right has led us all to War bankrupted our nation ,ruined our economy " So saith the Left wing "Liberal" Politicians.
You know what??....we have had these two parties swapping control ...for over a hundred years!
In that time this thinking regarding jobs,World Peace and prosperity and more, have brought us to right here, right now, with these global and national problems outlined within this article.
Each political party has blamed the other or someone else for the problems refusing to take ANY responsibility for their part in these financial and ecological disasters!
We the People have had to deal with their lies,denials and finger pointing at each other while NOTHING HELPFUL In or/FOR THE LONG TERM... GETS DONE!
Their best thoughts got us right here in the now with one disaster after another.
The mind boggling part for me is that the American public will go to the polls again this year and elect one of these parties with proven incompetence at their jobs AGAIN!
The American Voter will say...What other choice is there????
Well if they would REALLY ask and research that question they would find there are MANY OTHER CHOICES!
It is way past time for a new paradigm.

We the People do not need, nor can America survive anymore Conservatives or Liberals.

I read it and thought .."I was right!"
I have long suspected that the current war on drugs is a false front that makes money for the privatized prison systems,while doing away with druglords competition. I also believe that the main reason marijuana is still illegal is because powerful people are making a profit and do not wish that profit or power to be infringed upon .. and now here is the proof. (Cocaine is not the only substance coming from those cartels in Mexico ) ...Read about it then please become outraged..then for the sake of your livelyhood,your loved ones, your family and children...
DO SOMETHING!!!
What can you do???
Well for starters.... Take your money out of "Big Banks" and put it in a local community bank!
Then stop using the credit cards from Chase, Citi-Bank-Wachovia and anything funded by Goldman Sach! (For those that have been following along you also know that these banks are part of the FED.) You say you cannot??? Then when you wake up to a Socialist dictatorship that mandates everything you do,and they come for your family...Smile! Because your apathy helped to create it. Stop waiting for our useless government to do something..YOU DO SOMETHING!
My money is in a local community bank ..I do not have a credit card and I shop Mom and Pop local Bz. By money standards I am very poor..but I drink gourmet organic coffees, own my toyota, wash with handmilled soap made by the Amish, eat well from local farmers co-op,local gardens and my own, buy eggs from a local person, shop at yard sales for clothes, recycle, and more. You can do these things as well even if you live in the city. It's just done differently thats all.

Ah, Megabanks, how we love thee. Let us count the ways... Like clockwork, you create a new crisis every five to seven years or so with your greedy, pig-headed lending. You routinely cover your tracks with torrents of lobbying cash poured into Washington. In the subprime mortgage crisis and the financial meltdown that followed, you nearly succeeded in blowing up the global economy. And then, in the aftermath, you arranged one of the greatest swindles ever, getting the system to make you whole again (via taxpayer blood and treasure) even as a majority of Americans suffered.

The above is plenty of reason to be disgusted, one could fairly conclude. But as that legendary pitchman Ron Popeil likes to say: "But wait - there's more!"

Now we learn that, joy of joys, plundering and pillaging the rotten financial system was not enough for these men. They also saw fit to directly fuel the Mexican cocaine trade... knowingly aid in the laundering of billions, even tens of billions, in bloody drug money... and do their part in helping turn Mexico into Colombia, a struggling developing world country slowly descending into the hell of a narco-state.

Exaggeration? Sadly not...

Black Suitcases and a DC-9

A recent issue of Bloomberg Markets magazine ran a deeply unsettling story titled "Wachovia's Drug Habit."

The story opens with the seizure of a DC-9 jet loaded up with "128 black suitcases, packed with 5.7 tons of cocaine," good enough for a street value of $100 million.

"Law enforcement officials also discovered something else," Bloomberg Markets magazine reports. "The smugglers had bought the DC-9 with laundered funds transferred through two of the biggest banks in the U.S.: Wachovia Corp and Bank of America Corp"...

"This was no isolated incident," the story adds. "Wachovia, it turned out, had made a habit of helping move money for Mexican drug smugglers. Wells Fargo & Co., which bought Wachovia in 2008, has admitted in court that its unit failed to monitor and report suspected money laundering by narcotics traffickers - included the cash used to buy four planes that shipped a total of 22 tons of cocaine."

Blind Eye, Greedy Eye

Narcotics is big business in the United States. According to the U.S. Justice Department, Bloomberg reports, "the cartels have built a network of dealers in 231 U.S. cities from coast to coast, taking in about $39 billion in sales annually."

Thirty-nine billion is some serious dough. You don't move that kind of cash without the help of your friendly megabanker.

"It's the banks laundering the money for the cartels that finances the tragedy," says Martin Woods. "If you don't see the correlation between the money laundering by banks and the 22,000 people killed in Mexico, you're missing the point."

And just who is Martin Woods, you ask? He is the former head of Wachovia's anti-money-laundering unit in London. Woods is no longer in that role, having quit his job in "disgust" as higher-up executives ignored his documentation of the drug-money funneling process.

The profits from quietly washing that $39 billion clean were too big to pass up... and so the banks turned a blind eye instead.

The list of banks with questionable connections to the multibillion-dollar drug trade sounds like a "who's who" of financial might: Wachovia (now Wells Fargo). Bank of America. American Express Bank International. HSBC Holdings. Citigroup. Banco Santander. Western Union. There are probably more...

Too Big to Jail

"No big bank - Wells Fargo included - has ever been indicted for violating the Bank Secrecy Act or any other federal law," says Bloomberg. "Instead, the U.S. Justice Department settles criminal charges by using deferred-prosecution agreements, in which a bank pays a fine and promises not to break the law again."

In plain English, "Too Big to Fail" has become "Too Big to Jail." The megabanks are seen as too important to the health and functioning of the U.S. financial system to risk hitting them with criminal charges.

Perversely, the current setup actually reinforces criminal activity. When breaking the law results in a small financial fine, it doesn't take long before the fine is seen as a simple "cost of doing business." The megabanks, protected as they are from on high, are thus encouraged to do whatever they please and take their slap on the wrist later.

A Descent Into Hell

Roughly a month ago, Rodolfo Torre was ambushed and gunned down on a rural Mexican highway. Torre was the clear front-runner in a bid to become governor of Tamaulipas, a Mexican state bordering Texas. Along with Torre, his chief of staff, campaign chief and bodyguard were also killed.

This happened just across the border. Just imagine if a U.S. political candidate running on a strong anti-trafficking platform were hunted down.

In fact, we may not have to imagine at all, because a similar threat has arisen in Arizona... Joe Arpaio, the Sherriff of Maricopa County, Ariz., now has a $1 million bounty on his head. It was placed there by a Mexican drug cartel, Fox Phoenix reports. Do you think the cartel really has the money? I do. I wonder how they got it...

The number of people killed in the never-ending drug war continues to escalate. By some estimates 22,000 has become 25,000. Less than a week ago, four journalists were kidnapped. Attempts by the local police force to stand up to gang threats result in people's heads in baskets. Mexican pop singers who compose song ballads to drug barons, known as narcocorridos, are gunned down in cold blood when a rival baron gets offended. The Mexican Army, supposedly fighting the gangs, has gotten so out of control as to become a source of local terror themselves.

Mexico is on the way to becoming a failed state, or rather, a narco-state. The war on drugs has been completely and irrevocably lost. We are at the point where further efforts to "crack down" only serve to increase the profits of the cartels by raising the street value of various illegal substances. And the money poured into drug-fighting enforcement measures by both the U.S. and Mexican governments only serves to increase the size and frequency of violent, bloody shootouts.

Meanwhile, the dogs of war - i.e. the 'Too Big to Jail' banks - casually sit back and help fund it all.

No Redemption?

As Mexico morphs into Colombia - a de facto fiefdom for drug barons - America's "Great Recession" is showing more signs of being a Soft Depression for some. The latest stats indicate 25% of Americans have a credit score of less than 600, making them ineligible for any basic loans. A frightening majority of Americans are two paychecks or less from total destitution. And things are getting worse...

There seems to be no way around the final conclusion. America is gorging itself to death on complacency and ignorance. Our delusions and self indulgences are now, literally, costing thousands of lives. And the white-collar travesties being perpetrated at the highest levels are helping to transform an immediate neighbor, Mexico, from a promising developing world nation into a blood-soaked third-world hellhole.

What can we do about any of this? "Throw the bums out?" Which bums exactly? Replace the Democrat in the White House with another Republican? Fat lot of good that would do... just look what the last Republican did. When an empire shows itself to be in the final stages of crumbling, perhaps the only sane thing to do is stay wise, stay wary, and focus on the well-being of your loved ones...

In an effort to combat or prevent "Cyber Terrorism" upon our infrastructure the US alphabet soup gangs(NSA) have launched this very disturbingly named program.
According to The Wall Street Journal July 8th 2010 post this "Perfect Citizen" program would do the following:
"detect cyber assaults on private companies and government agencies running such critical infrastructure as the electricity grid and nuclear-power plants,"

"The surveillance by the National Security Agency, the government's chief eavesdropping agency, would rely on a set of sensors deployed in computer networks for critical infrastructure that would be triggered by unusual activity suggesting an impending cyber attack, though it wouldn't persistently monitor the whole system,"

I have a couple of questions here.

If it is NOT going to monitor the entire time,then what is the point of having it in the first place?

I would not pay 100 million dollars for a part time firewall or anti-virus program..would you?

Why would you name this program "Perfect Citizen"?

Oh but it is NOT a protection program per-se it is a eaves dropping program that would only pop on if a certain set of actions were being done.

Hey I am all for protecting our infra-structure against Cyber attacks.

But why is it up to the Federal government to do this rather than the private corporations that own these utility companies?

Why is it not up to the states these companies are in to ask for this assist from the Federal government?

For that matter why aren't the states these companies are in already providing this security?

If this is SOO critical to our security then wouldn't the legislators of the states know?

If they know then why wouldn't they opt to implement this program throughout their infra structure?

Did/Do the States get a choice?

If not ...why not?

This program "Perfect Citizen" sets my inner alarm bells ringing and is a red flag waving.

As a beloved Mentor of mine once said:

"The shadow of something proceeds it"

I have found this to be a true statement in my life and I can see this shadow a -coming.

What it will bring when it is seen is NOT a good thing.

This program implemented in this manner serves no one well but the paranoid people in the NSA who are the main body part for the military industry that along with the Banksters want total control of us all...in order to ease their mental illness paranoia.

A better idea that would more efficiently serve WE the People and honor States Rights would be to offer this program to the states and corporations that are at risk or teach them how to do this for themselves. I am sure the 100 million price tag would go a long way in that regards to making sure that our infra structure is maintained securely. Our nations laws are NOT a inconvenience to be gotten around ...they are there to protect this country from such mentally deranged people such as those that seem to control our government .

All new laws and state laws are to be made under the guidelines of The Law of the Land which is the Constitution.

However that document gets ignored every single time one of the alphabet people get paranoid.

Hey don't worry Big brother is "protecting you" and our way of life.

After all the politics of fear is how they roll.

"Our national security" is at stake here according to them.

They certainly cannot allow a little thing like common sense, our Constitution and state sovereignty rights to get in the way.

The Hard Science:
There IS overwhelming physical evidence that reveals explosives were used to bring down the 3 WTC buildings on 911. There is nothing theoretical about the claim - forensic proof has sealed the case.

Simply put, it is IMPOSSIBLE to find Molten Steel, Thermite traces, plus actual fragments of High Tech Explosives in the rubble pile, and to have the freefall collapse of steel framed buildings, WITHOUT using incendiaries or explosives of the sort commonly employed by the military and demolition companies.

Either basic scientific principles (ones that have NEVER been disproved) are drastically in error or we are looking at the physical evidence of the controlled demolition of the WTC buildings. Ergo, 911 was an inside job.

For almost 9 years there has been a concerted effort by official investigators and the mainstream media to keep people ignorant of this information. However, thanks to the work of independent investigators and the availability of information via the Internet, these efforts have largely failed. The scientific proof of the inside job is irrevocably in the public domain.

However, there still remains a high level of ignorance concerning this key scientific evidence - due primarily to a self induced, culturally influenced aversion to even consider the 911 truth question.

In today's society people have been conditioned to reject all things labeled "conspiracy" as if such claims were wholly unsubstantiated. Association with mental illness and irrationality have hamstrung our ability to even look at the data. This is especially true when it comes to issues that can be labelled as being part of a "big government conspiracy". Most people when it comes to these topics end up being too indignant, ignorant, embarrassed or afraid to even discuss them. Alas, no matter how good the information, even the most intelligent among us who "decide" not to weigh up the evidence, will always fail to see through the official deceptions.

Their agenda is to act as credible authority figures, using their academic or professional backgrounds to discredit the hard evidence and build a "consensus" opinion backing the official lies. The mission, transparent to the well informed, is to basically hoodwink open minded members of the public. Many of these debunkers, who are too intelligent not to understand the science proving the inside job, appear to be on the Government payroll. Indeed most are probably involved in a modern day version of Operation Mockingbird.

Nevertheless, despite the pervasive lies presented in the official 911 reports, the censorship by the corporate media, the disinformation efforts of the supposedly independent debunkers, and our own inabilities to come to terms with challenging information, the physical evidence of the inside job still stands. The World Trade Centre forensic evidence proves the official account is a lie and ends the 911 conspiracy debate. [Presently there are 5 peer reviewed scientific papers supporting the inside job hypothesis that remain unchallenged in the scientific literature.]

The Truth will End the War on Terror:
The bottom line is Osama Bin Laden was not responsible for 911 - as he himself claimed. Bin Laden was a patsy - he certainly could not have rigged the Twin Towers or WTC7 with explosives. The famous confession video, in the opinion of real independent analysis, appears to be a fake.
