The UN council on Torture was told this:
"Let there be no doubt, the United States does not torture and it will not torture," Harold Hongju Koh, State Department legal adviser, told the UN council.

U.S. government does not  Torture???
Since when???
Perhaps I am a little absent minded but I could have swore this happened.

Torture, Cover-Up At Gitmo?
