Dear Corporate and State-funded Western Media Journalists,
The attack upon Iraq in 2003 was a War Crime. It was premeditated murder. If you want to be honest about this issue you can't simply put on establishment apologists and think you are doing a good job.
You should try interviewing critics in the alternative media that understand International Law and the specific circumstances that led to the invasion.
Presently you are simply repeating the meme that the Chilcot Inquiry 'stopped short of saying the war was illegal' - that it was largely the result of intelligence failures (not deliberate lies). However, the Inquiry also said that Saddam's Iraq was not actually an imminent threat to any nation, regardless of the perceived WMD 'danger'. Because there was no real threat the war was indeed illegal.
There was no 'self defence' justification and neither was there a UN sanction for the attack. This makes the war authorising individuals, the President and Prime Ministers, War Criminals.
You cannot let your war apologist guests go unchallenged when they say that mistakes were made and that we need to make sure this does not happen again - that prosecution is not necessary. Hundreds of thousands died. Accepting a 'we must look forward' position is allowing criminals to go free.
And these politicians are criminals.
DELIBERATE LIES were told about Iraq's WMDs and the threat they posed. The liars included politically appointed bosses within the intelligence community, such as George Tenet. The actual intelligence on the WMD 'threat', the 2002 October National Intelligence Estimate, stated that there was NO threat, and that the information on the WMD programs was either ambiguous or fabricated (the aluminium tubes, the yellowcake uranium, the nuclear weapons program, Iraq's ties to Al Qaeda, the mobile weapons labs, the 45min threat capability, plus claims of stockpiled chemical weapons - this last point was made up by people like Donald Rumsfeld).
In 2005 an Australian documentary titled; Truth, Lies and Intelligence laid out the case that the lies for the war had been pushed by political chiefs led by neoconservative ideologues. It also pointed out that the 'intelligence' being used to justify the war was known to be faulty at the time. We also know that the British Government knew the US leadership - the politicians, neoconservatives and intelligence chiefs - were cooking up a case to go to war. In a set of documents known as the Downing Street Memos we find that; "the [US] intelligence and facts were being fixed around the policy" so that war could be waged against Iraq. The UK went along with this policy of fabrication and constructed their own 'Dodgy Dossier' claiming that Iraq could use WMDs on British forces in the region with only a 45 minute warning for such an attack.
Undoubtedly, without these politically driven lies there would have been no war.
Punishment is necessary in order to stop continued war-facilitating lying. We have recently seen the false claim that the Assad Government used chemical weapons in the Syrian War. These recent lies almost led to an overt Western attack on that country that would have advantaged ISIS.
If the people who launched the 2003 Iraq War had been jailed for War Crimes, things would be very different now. War Crimes trials are still needed.

Surprise! That Document Bush/Cheney Used To Justify Iraq War, Doesn’t
In late 2002 and early 2003, American involvement in the war in Afghanistan would go on for another dozen years but already that war was losing its prominence in the headlines, so President Bush, Dick Cheney and the hawks on the right began the process of selling us all on the war they really wanted, Iraq. It was a matter of national security. It was an immediate threat. Iraq was amassing an arsenal of weapons of mass destruction that threatened our way of life. It was a slam dunk. It was a lie.
On an almost daily basis, members of the Bush administration came before us with a mountain of information detailing Saddam Hussein’s WMD program that could only be dealt with by invading the country and toppling his regime. To make their case, the administration and its allies cited the 2002 National Intelligence Estimate (NIE), a 93 page report that compiled all the intelligence available, along with expert opinions and interpretations. We later found out that, while what they were saying did come from the report, they were often leaving out important, if not critical information, information that significantly changes the picture being drawn. What they left out was all the uncertainty and condition that ran through every page of the report like chocolate sauce through a half gallon of fudge ripple ice cream.
In 2004, the CIA released the report as the result of a Freedom of Information Act request, but it was so heavily redacted as to be almost meaningless. In 2006, Congress went back through the information that had been available in the run up to the war and concluded that the administration had “overstated” the case. Until now though, the general public has had to take them on their word just what that means. A new FOIA request from John Greenewald at The Black Vault has resulted in the CIA releasing a new, much cleaner version of the report.
Coming on the heels of the 9/11 attacks, it was important that Al Qaeda be kept at the top of our priority list. So, the administration went to great lengths tying Saddam Hussein to the terrorist group, National Security Advisor, Condoleeza Rice, White House Press Secretary, Ari Fleischer and others made the connection and then Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld came out and told us they had “Bulletproof” information linking the two.

Every time they knowingly left out a qualification or a piece of intelligence that shed doubt, and told us they were certain, they were lying. Now we know it for fact.
Today the hawks on the right are talking up a new war, this time in Iran.

It was not mistaken intelligence (a point I put to various brainwashed mainstream journalists in emails over the years - but to no avail). The declassified intelligence, directly cited in this post, shows there were strong doubts that any active WMD programs existed in Iraq (although it could not be ruled out), and concluded that the regime of Saddam Hussein was not a threat to the USA unless he was openly attacked first (and even then his means of response was limited). Specific 'points of evidence' aired by officials on TV were untrue. The war was ultimately justified because of an "imminent threat" of attack - a lie. Launching what was an unnecessary war based on lies is a War Crime. The people who are covering up this crime, failing to launch prosecutions (the dept. of justice), are also committing a crime with their failure to act. Today we are getting similar lies about Iran, something that was predicted to happen about ten years ago when the scale of the previous propaganda effort was being recognised. When we have events like ANZAC Day or Memorial Day you might think about saving lives by taking an interest in this kind of thing.

We are all Muslims Now

We are all Native American Now, we are all Black Now, we are all Palestinian Now, we are all Jewish, and Irishman Now, we are all anyone who has ever been oppressed. We have every right to be angry, we have every right to sit up and take notice, and voice our dismay.
Our leadership has failed us, it has taken advantage of us, it has conditioned us to live in fear, and to hate each other. A small segment of the population controls 90% of the world's wealth, we have every right to be angry at this injustice. Power has become so arrogant that they would destroy our world in order to make a profit, in order to maintain control, in order to even further consolidate their power.
The Middle Eastern and African people are rebelling and for good reason, the boot of oppression has been on their backs for far too long. I Was Right ! The reason we are in Afghanistan is Trillions in Mineral Resources/And lets not forget the Oil pipeline

Our Solders Apologise to the Iraqi People then say it is American Governments War Policy's Fault
Josh Stieber,Ethan McCord,both former specialist of the U.S. Army are two of the ones who were in the Wikileaks vid below. They were doing the slaughter and the commentary on the slaughter. Now they have had three years to reflect on their actions and now they are sorry that they behaved so badly.
Their letter is moving and does tell us something very important regarding our American military machine.
I read the apology and couldn't figure out why I was SOOOO annoyed.
So I thought about it. Then I thought about it some more.
Then it hit me.
Why did those solders NOT understand that this was wrong?
How could you not know this I wondered?
What the solders say is VERY profound.
They stated that "They were taught by the military to carry out war in Iraq this way"
For whatever reason this letter was written it lets us 'We The People" know the truth about what is happening in our name worldwide.
The name of the game is "Profit and Control" by Corporations for the Resources that matter to any country. Civilians apparently are very expendable in that rush to control these resources.
Our world is at peak oil now. This means that whatever they get in the future from oil production will be less and less.
Most of American business are now outsourced to other countries.
Resource control is ALL American BZ seems to have left to be on the world market.
They ( The Corporate BZ World) seem to have painted themselves into a corner as the saying goes.
So control of remaining resources is vital in the minds of those who rule.
What do you people think "protecting our national interests" means?
Why do you think NATO is involved?
9/11 was a False Flag Operation and the 'War on Terror" is used as an excuse to take us to Iraq and where ever else we need to be in that region or the world to control the remaining natural resources those regions have.
Afghanistan is rich in other natural resources besides oil and natural gas.
There is Rubies,Sapphires,coal, and more in those Afghanistan mountains.
Why do you think Russia wanted it?
The suicide rate of our solders is unbelievable and those two solders who wrote this letter have given us a glimpse into a part of the "why" the suicide rate of our solders is so high.
They are correct when they say that our government no longer represents the values of 'We The People" I am not certain they ever did.It is way past time for a new paradigm regarding our governments policies worldwide. I am glad this letter is out in the public however I am appalled that they or other's of American solders in Iraq or any other place in the world just did not know that this mass killing spree is and was wrong!
Are they telling us that they have no spirituality? No religion? No home training? They had no way of knowing that this was wrong?
Is this how most people are ? Are they believing it's OK to behave barbarically if someone is declared an enemy or someone is not standing right there telling them no?
Just where do those people put their humanity (Did they ever have any?) while they are blindly following orders, or carrying out military policies to do something that they should know in their heart and soul is wrong!

The Iraq inquiry; Tony Blair said he believed that Saddam had WMD's
Either the CIA and British intelligence people were manipulated or they themselves did the manipulation to place us over there in Iraq for corporational profit.
Fact is no WMD's have ever been discovered in Iraq.
So either the CIA and British intelligence people are very easy to manipulate through false info or those alphabet people lied to Blair and Bush.
Perhaps Blair and Bush just out and out lied on their own.
So what are we to believe?
#1That they are all stupid and incompetent at their jobs?
#2 They are intelligent and know what's up and gleefully deceived us all.
Lets just say that WMD's (weapons of mass destruction) had been there.
Isn't America responsible for Saddam having them in the first place?
When are they going to get a clue and understand that the more they try to prevent this mess from happening the more it happens? The fact is that the more we meddle trying to manipulate an outcome that they would consider favorable the more they have to fix the mess they created.(and it's always a mess)
There is a pattern here that is clear to anyone that can see. Of course in order for that to happen they would have to take their heads out of their arrogant fear driven arse's or out of the corporational arse's they are licking and pay attention.

The United States government is killing their own solders
Any leaders of any nation that knowingly kills off it's own military is insane.
Call it what you will but the bottom line is that constant exposure to radioactive dust from depleted Uranium is a death sentence. Our Department of Defence says that depleted uranium is safe. Scuse me but when did radiation become safe? Our solders are exposed. There is no way they could not be.
I watched this video in horror of that realization.
Military contractors made these weapons that have depleted Uranium in them. Military contractors are funded by the government and my tax dollars.
A quite rage courses through me.
My mind is screaming at this evil perpetuated by my government in "We The Peoples" name,in the name of keeping us "safe" from terrorist.
This evil that began on 9/11 from an inside job.
Is this a matter of the end justifies the means??
My mother taught me that two wrongs do not make a right.
Certainly these children born with deformities are very important.
Where are the right to lifers? Those pro-life people screaming at abortion clinic doors about the sacredness of life? Why are they silent?
Either all life is sacred or none of it is!
Our solders will come home with this exposure to radiation sickness and they will die.
They will die trying to believe that what our country had them do was right.
Many will die knowing they were betrayed by our government.
They answered the call to defend our nation.
Our government and the people in charge of it have betrayed them.

I want to take a moment here and thank our military and those veterans who are speaking out and those who honor their oath to protect us. And while I am speaking about it. Since when is an order lawful that is against our Constitutional law? The freedom of Speech,the right to peacably assemble does not seem to apply to our veterans nor any one else in this country anymore.
